Supporting Our Neighbors, Supporting Our Neighborhoods.
At Renewal by Andersen® of Philadelphia we know that our business depends on the trust and backing of the homeowners in the communities we serve. By entrusting us with the replacement of their windows and doors, our customers are providing a living for our employees. We appreciate the confidence they place in our company, and are fully committed to returning that support.
That’s why we have created Window of Giving, an employee-driven program of Esler Companies / Renewal by Andersen that supports local and international non-profits that enrich our communities and the world.
Window of Giving includes financial support for local organizations. But we go beyond that by encouraging our team members to volunteer with nonprofits that are important to them and to serve the greater good.
Just as important as the financial support, gifts, and employee involvement we provide is the opportunity to educate ourselves and our staff on the nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area that are delivering needed solutions to pressing problems.
We even have a Window of Giving Program Manager to help organize outreach efforts and coordinate group volunteer opportunities within the Greater Philadelphia area. There are multiple ways in which we support worthy charitable organizations and programs:
- Time – We support employees who wish to donate their own time as a volunteer for nonprofits that are important to them. In many cases a group of our team members will work together to accomplish even more.
- Wish List – For Philadelphia area nonprofits that provide us with a “wish list” of items they may need (like canned foods, dry goods, clothing, etc.), we will match any donations our employees make at a minimum of a 2-to-1 ratio to increase support provided.
- Sponsored Events – We provide selected events throughout the year with financial support and volunteers from our staff.
- Giving Matching Program – Window of Giving will match a financial donation made by an employee to a nonprofit of their choice, with a donation that is three times that made by the employee (up to a maximum of $1,000 per year for each employee).
We believe it is our obligation to be a responsible corporate citizen in the communities in which we live and work. If you would like more information about Renewal by Andersen of Philadelphia’s Window of Giving program visit www.windowofgiving.com.
